Hi Everyone,

I am planning to go camping for a few days with some friends and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for good places to camp and fish. Preferably I would not like to travel farther than 4 hours away from Ottawa. Also I don't have a boat so either a place where I can rent a canoe or has good shore fishing would be great. Bass,Pike,Walleye, and Trout species would be preferable.

I was up to Lac Lapeche NCC canoe/ kayak campsites for the May long weekend. Sites were great, pike fishing was good , small mouth fishing is supposed to be good also but I was too early for that, had no luck with walleye at all, they have canoe rental on site, provide free firewood,
