I am looking at getting to the area this weekend for my first time. I have looked at Arnprior and Rockland areas, as they both have launches and accommodations close by. I may also be looking for a fishing buddy. Any suggestions or areas that may be better suited would be greatly appreciated. Please post or e-mail.

If you try the arnprior area you also have the madawaska river as an option if the ottawa is being nasty, it can get pretty rough out there. Im not familiar with the rockland area but I've seen lots of pic of real nice fish from that stretch.
