I have been buying my live bait for years at Manotik , Stittsville and Arnprior, but now Toweys and Stittsville are closed. Tried Petrie Island, but he seems to have mostly small bait.
Does anyone know of a place with in the Ottawa region to get decent live bait for ice fishing?

I am not sure where Serge's banner ad went, but he is the best (only?) source for bait in-town. You have to call ahead. He is on Grenon Ave. and is awesome to deal with

Kemptville at the Old Co-Op they have carried bait in past years, I don't know if they intend to carry it this year.

If I have left someone out, no offense is intended, i just don't know any others.

Another spot is bait casters in Carleton Place.

Charlies in Rockland. Might be a bit out of the way, depending on where you're fishing, but his minnows are robots. They can live forever!

Serge's banner is still there. He is appointment only, so keep that in mind.

Hard to beat Charlie in Rockland. At times Petrie is the only spot with golden shiners but best have an aerator if you're not fishing right away.
