The science of catching fish

Who knew that catching fish could be so complicated? Some interesting reading here from Steven Cooke of Carleton University
Working with colleagues in the US and Germany, my lab at Carleton University in Ottawa just published the FIRST ever scientific review of the factors that determine what makes fish vulnerable to capture by hook and line. We are working on a short video summary which I will post shortly. In the interim, here is a link to the entire paper: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1 ... 12219/full Normally scientific papers cost $ to access but I convinced the publisher to make it freely available for the rest of April 2017. We welcome your input on the paper. Steven Cooke http://www.fecpl.ca
Cheers
