4 weeks to go until Bass Opener!!!!!

What will you be throwing first?
Any last minute tackle purchases?
Are your reels all spooled up?

I got apparel coming in, a few Megabass Pony Gabots, Magdraft and Magslow.
I still need line, really wanting to try J-Braid.

Also looking to unload some more, be on the lookout for a classified add coming soon lol, winter has been rough, I might have bought too much stuff again!

First bait - My beloved missile d-bomb,

Last minute purchases - Just coffee and bagels the morning of the opener.

Reels are spooled but will be re-spooling at least 2 with Daiwa J-Braid

I'm hitting up sail to stack up today. I really really want to catch a fish on those live target hallow body sunfish. Got caught up in the trend last year and bought as soon as it came out. Been at the bottom of my tackle bin for a year already.

8 of 10 are spooled. I'll be picking up my license and some line tonight to finish off the other reels.

Depending where I start the year, it will either be that Megabass Pivot or my trusty PTL Sick Stick.

Have a couple more Klash 9's coming over from Japan, I'm going to have a hard time putting that bait down and fishing something else.

You bass fishermen are the most patient bunch of us all... My walleye opener on your side of the river begins in less than 4 hours and I will be there counting down the seconds until the season opens at midnight. 'Can't wait!!!

We'll be on the St.Lawrence fishing for Largies in the AM although there's always Smallies in the same spots at the start of the season. I can't wait, we'll be fishing in people's front yards...Topwater I hope!

Funny you mention the Joker, pulled the trigger on one this morning

No last minute tackle buys but I did buy a few new rods and reels in the spring..... All the reels are spooled because Ed does it when you buy one.

My season will start on Quinte this year and since I don't know the waters all that well, I'll probably be buzzing a Rage Toad off the shorelines.

still 4 weeks!!...damn at times i envy those guys south of the border. Pretty much all set up; i fish from the bank so depending where i go it will be either pitching a BioSpawn Vilecraw or throwing a Dirty Jig swimjig or maybe a Z-Man chatterbait...and if that doesn't get me any bites i'll break out my trusty senkos

First bait- Have to flip and pitch the revenge jigs
Last min purchase - Still 4 weeks till opener so who knows lol
Reels spooled - Line has been purchased, will be spooling up very soon
