Fishing in Alexandria On??

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing in Alexandria On??

Post by FLOATFISHIN »

Hey gang, it seems we have the "Glengary District High School" roof to do at the end of June, and might take us to late Aug to finish. It's in Alexandria On. I have been looking on line, and I'll be staying Mon-Fri instead of traveling back and forth to Orleans. All I see thus far, is "Mill pond" and the creek that flows into it. I'm looking for walk able opportunities after work per say, and was wondering if anyone had info on the area? I am not asking for any help, other than, is there fish in the pond? Is it fish able from shore, and what might be in there?

I'll be staying in a motel, (Have not looked that up yet, for fishing info comes first LOL)

If anyone can help, A cold beer is on me, if anyone wanted to hook up for a fish while I'm out there! Detail's are not set in stone for the job just yet, but I figured I'd get a head start if there was fishing opportunities. If there is no fishing worth while, I'll tell my boss I can't do the job

Thanks in advance:

You’ll catch pike in the pond, it’s the same pond they have the annual ice fishing pike derby on, you’ll catch panfish in there as well, all from shore.

Being in Alexandria you will only be a 15-20 minute drive to Lancaster and it will put you on the shore of lake st Francis, you’re options will open a bit more. Usually always someone fishing under the bridge when I launch at the raisin river marina
