My son ,grandson and I fished the Kawartha's for Muskies last week . We fished Balsam , Pigeon and Sturgeon weather was tough big cold front came through winds 10 mph with gust up to 18 mph . We boated 9 muskies and saw 22 others from follows and hits a couple of the follows were from mid 40" fish . My grandson caught his first Muskie ever first trip to Canada it was 34 1/2" my son caught the biggest of the week a 43" er caught on Pigeon lake . Tuesday it was 75 degrees by Thursday am wind chill was 29 degrees surface temps went from 63 down to 55 . Tough fishing but we had a good time my grandson learned how to cast and work all the different types of Muskie lures . Here is my sons 43 " er .

Beautiful Musky! Glad that you had success in spite of the weatherman!
