Eskimo Ice Augers

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Eskimo Ice Augers

Post by Barr »

Drilling with the 6" manual is getting old and I am looking into purchasing a power auger.

Anyone care to share their experience with Eskimo Power Augers? I am looking at the Mako or Shark 8" like here https://under-the-open-sky.com/best-ice-augers/.

Thanks a lot

If you don't have your heart set on an Eskimo, I highly recommend looking at the Rapala line of augers.
I have had mine for 4 yrs and they are a great unit.
Reliable, powerful, etc......checks all the required boxes.
Cheers!
I'll never apologize for being a hunter (or a fisherman)!
