Hi, Folks.
I went yesterday to fish Calabogie lake. I was on the water from 4 till 9 pm.
NO EVEN ONE BITE..!!! I used all regular techniques that usually produce results...
No walleye, no pike, no bass, no rock bass, no perch..!!
Is this normal? Or its because I am a great fishermen...?

Its not you. The fishing was slow during the middle of the day. I was fishing eccolands park yesterday with a buddy (in a inflatable boat). We fished a 300 meter span of shore line with berkley gulp alive minnows on 1/8 jigs. We only caught a 6 inch bass and a crayfish.

Good morning,
Thanks for comforting me. It was disappointing. Five hours under blazing sun - ZERO bites.
I wish you to have many more successful memorable outings !

My family and I rented a cabin and 14 ft boat at jockos beach resort on Sunday. The bite was scarce. I spent about 7 hours on the water (went out 3 times - and covered a good chunk of the lake) from 8am-8pm and managed a 20 inch Pike near Jockos Beach. I saw a nice one in the water (follow to the boat) around Indian Island around 9am but that was it.

We spent over 20hrs on the lake in 4 days(June 17-20), different time, all over the lake , near shores and up to 50ft depth.
No ONE bite! Was too hot maybe.

Hi guys, I am back here.
Yesterday went to Calabogie again. It was much better.
I caught 4 basses and 2 pikes.
Pike were small I left them in a lake to grow.
Didn't use livebait

this time - only sticky plastic worms.
