Rideau river opener

Decied to stay local for walleye opener and hit the Rideau river. Launched the boat about 5:45am got out on the water and too my surprise water temp was already 70. Tried lots of different baits at different depths but it was a slow day. Only got 1 walleye too the boat all morning. But it was still nice too be out. Anyone else hit the Rideau river this weekend, how’d you do?
