Did my first full day of ice fishing Sunday. Left my place at 4:45 hit the road in the snow and it seemed too pay off.

Started the morning with a long walk to the spot we wanted too fish. We set up in 18-25ft of on the drop off from about 10ft down too 25-30. The mroning started busy with lots of good sized perch.

Steady action but not the walleye I was hoping for. But a do start to see a couple bigger marks and end the morning with 1 small walleye on the dead stick and 1 okay one on a tungsten jig and minnow.

That walleye definitely made it a great day for me.
Tungsten jig and a small minnow really seemed to work the best for the walleye for me. They were finicky and biting light. The perch were liking small spoons and loved the dead stick minnow on a treble. We decided too release all fish today too so excited to catch them once they grow
