I enjoy fishing for whities on Simcoe and am wondering if anyone’s got a lead on a lake with good whities in the 613?
Fished them in BR before with no luck. Feel free to PM me. Thanks!

A good piece away but still in the 613 the best place I know of is Bark Lake, back in the 80's that's where I first learned how to use actual true tip-ups with spreaders and salted minnows for Whities. We rented shacks at Sunny Hill Resort and chummed with corn to bring them around. Also caught Lakers and the odd Sucker on the same lines.

I recommend Baskatong Reservoir. Located in Quebec, approximately 200 km north of Ottawa, this reservoir hosts species such as walleye, northern pike, lake trout, and whitefish.

Any lake with Lake Trout unusually has Whitefish. We do well on Bobs and Crow.
