Wishing everyone a safe and successful 2025 Fishing season. One more week and all the ice will be out of the North channel. Then we can get into some exciting lake lake trout fishing.

Thanks for the well wishes! Do you have any favorite spots or techniques for lake trout fishing in the North Channel once the ice is gone?

From the gap to the red can Is where I've had most of my success. And straight west of the red can. Rapala x raps 40' blue and pink.
