Kars will be busy

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Kars will be busy

Everyone catch the article in this morning's Citizen? Imagine that stretch will have every boat from here to Kingston on it by the weekend. A great picture of an amazing fish!

Jazman, yeah I can see slight uprise in boat traffic between the bridges. A 3/4 page spread in the city section will do it. Beautiful muskie, and great publicity for Jake and Manotick Bait and Tackle...

Curious- was there any mention of the legal size limit requirements for fish caught on the Rideau?. It would have been nice as many that may head there will not be aware of the 44 inch minimum on the river.

Musky on the Rideau

It does not really state if the fish was released or not. I sure hope it was, if that was a female imagine the eggs... Let them all GO!

Regretfully and unintentionally, the muski did not survive. It enhaled thebait and suffered to much damage. Everything was done to save the fish, but attempts weren't successful. No one is more sorry about this than Lowkey.
