Has anyone caught this on TV? It appears to be a new Canadian show. I have only seen one episode, but it was pretty damn good. There was *way* more focus on how to catch the fish than on other shows - and it appears to be their theme. I actually learned something

And he didn't try to sell me timbits!

The lad who runs the show is part of the board. Except I forgot his name.

Maybe he'll post something

Still think it's funny that he has a lady in a dress on the boat. I guess sex sells

Looks like an interesting show...
Looked at a lot of their footage on the net and it's pretty cool.
Thanks for the link.

I think that the camera work is a little choppy and not the greatest, but the information that is given, the personality of the host plus his obvious love of fishing really make this show stand out in it's first few episodes.
It looks like the info has been tailored more to the novice angler, but if they keep up the interesting locations, this show should do fairly well.

For those interested in the show that haven't seen it yet-- this week they will be fishing for carp at Frenchmens bay and Hamilton harbour
In Ottawa the show will air on rogers cable at 8 am and again at 10 am on Sunday - CH 56 (OLN)

I was waiting for this show and missed the start - especially the Muskie one. I hate to ask this, but are there any re-runs being aired???

I saw it last week, the Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario. It was a very refreshing show, a different style that I liked.
Is Jen always the guest or does that change from week to week? I like Jen, she seemed to be enjoying herself, but it appeared she is only along for the fun and not to host the show.
I really like this show so far.

It's also great that he goes into alot of detail about where he's fishing. You are told how to get there, where to launch and what to keep an eye out for. Most shows only tell where they are if they are advertising the fishing lodge.

We just noticed traffic coming from this location with our web tracking software!
Thanks for the feedback – I am Steve, the producer/post supervisor for the show.
To answer the question about reruns – we don’t know if they will be showing the musky show again, but we just found out they are re-running our second episode with our guest "Jen" fishing for Salmon.
That rerun is on Friday and Saturday – So this week the show will be on four days in a row, starting tomorrow morning!
Here are the times for those interested (on OLN):
"Urban Carp":
Thursday - 9:30am and 11:30am
Sunday - 8:00am and 10:00 am
"Open Water Salmon":
Friday - 9:30am and 11:30am
Saturday - 10:00am and 11:00am
Thanks again for the feedback; we take viewer input very seriously as this is our first season, and we want to be sure we are making a show YOU want to see!
The comments about the unstable camera are noted – we feel the same and are working to improve as we go – have you ever tried shooting with a long lens on a bumpy boat in open water?

I really enjoyed the show. One of the better ones out there, was able to understand what he was talking about........Able to see what he was using. Not like some of the other shows that just show them reeling the fish in.....
