Anyone going to Mississippi Lake Derby - Feb 12?

I'm glad to see that Bait caster's 3rd annual derby is a little later in the season this year. Last year I nearly froze to death.
Considering my run of success on Mississippi Lake last season (2nd in May pike/pickeral derby and partner , RJ, caught big bass in the Bassin for Bucks derby in Oct) I think I'll have to get out there to see what I can pull through the ice.

Barring any unforseen commitment, i will be attending. I'm really looking forward to finally meeting Mike & Crystal and leaving a few foldies behind at the shop!.......that is if i have any left from Valentines Day shopping

Still working over the wife, but it is looking good.

Was there last year but this now co-ioncides with Valentines Day plans...taking the girlfirend out tomorrow. Maybe she will be hooked big time and WE will be going out for the tourney.

Oh oh! I was reading a PM from Jazman about this event when I realized that I will be in Newfoundland on that day. Sorry Crystal.
But I was thinking of pulling some specs through the ice while on The Rock.
It's been a while but I think I can still figure out how to do it.

Just bumping this back up the list.
With the weather getting nice this derby should prove to be pretty popular this year.
I went last year and had a riot. You will see lots of Fish-Hawkers out there for sure.
Crystal and Mike did you get those special minnows I need to win this year?
I know... can`t play favorites. C ya out there.
Fish-Hawk and Bobber you guys still owe me a breakfast from standing me up last year... I would settle for sharing a shack or portable with you guys for this... what do you think?
Just ribbing you... you don`t owe me a thing... but getting out would be kinda fun.
