Where To Buy Maggots

I'm heading up to Floyd Hales in Beaverton this week and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick up some maggots.
Any help would be great Thanks.

My buddy pick ours up in Manotick (at the bait shop) on our way to Lower Rideau lake. Just a few bucks for a hundred!!!

I did buy some in a petshop...they sell diferente kind off magot and worms and all kind off insect for reptile and all...........
or get the one frome berkley they work good......

Any big Pet Store chain (Pet Smart or SuperPet) that carries herptiles should have them. My local store has them at $10 per 100 but I'm sure I can find them cheaper if I shopped around.

JAZ - herptile is a broader term for reptiles and amphibians

Darn right shop around. Around here, they go from $2.50 to $3.99 for 100 regular size. For $7.50 you get 100 jumbo ones.
I guess you already know this but just in case. You can leave your can in the garage. They will look frozen stiff but when you take one in the palm of your hand and blow blow in your fist, they come right back to life.

W - am I ever wasting my money! I just realized though... are you talking waxies or maggots? I'm talking waxworms. If you can get waxworms for that $2.50/100 and are coming to the FH derby pick me up 400 will ya!

maggots are really expensive in Canada! Over here they're used for everyting and you can get thousands for nothing.

I threw a suprise birthday party and BBQ last summer, and found a box of raw hamburger meat outside a week later, hidden in the bushes. I say there were at least 5 pounds of maggots in that. If it happens again, I'll give you a call and you can have them for free!!!
