Looking for good summer fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Elephant Lake Lodge...

Post by muskymuskymusky »

Elephant Lake has all the fish you just mentioned plus it has Muskie And hybrids aslwell.( Ive caught two) It is near Bancroft for shopping and has Baptiste lake just a 15 min boat ride away. It is family ownned and operated, although i have never stayed in the cottages(my cottage is just 15min) i have camped and fished the lake hundreds of times. Its small enough to be safe in all weather and large enough to support larges to 6lbs Smallies can reach huge sizes in Baptiste. The pike are smaller but have heard of a couple 15+ lbs being taken. The muskies can reach over 50 " but the best ive caught is 42". It is one of my favorite spots.Oh yeah my buddy caught a 6lbs walleye there 2 years ago at 1am. So it got the fishing capablities for sure. :)
