These last few days have me thinking, what better target to set for myself than to make a video of me catching as many differnet species of fish as I can.
Then at the end of the year I can make a collage in effect and one great movie hopefully!
But don't worry, I'll keep filming everyone else as I go along
What are your goals this upcoming season ?

I want to catch a few new species that I've never purposely targetted in the past. Muskie, channel cats, gar, and carp top my list. And to get out and meet even more Hawk Talkers, you're a great bunch!

My goals for 2005 are my first 54" Muskie

, a rip to Nipigon with my favorite Hawk-Talkers to beat my personal best spec and laker

, and a 40" salmon

.
And to have WIG get it all on video...!!!!

Hopefully I can get out enough to have 5 entries for all species in the virtual FH derby.
Specific targets:
6+ lb bass...
20+ lb Muskie....
16+ lb Walleye...
Finally, the most important one, bring my daugter out on the water.
Cheers,
Mike

My goals for this year....? I want to meet more Fishhawkers this year as I have met only a few. I would like to fish more different waters this year and I would like to become a more knowledgable and technical fisherman this year. One last thing, have lots of fun doing it.
Cheers

Hi, WIG.
*
Spend more time fishing.
* I'd like to get my best yet in either (or all!) smallies, pike, walleye.
* I want to continue learning about musky fishing and hopefully get another tiger musky on Otisco Lake -- this one larger than 26".
* Get Shane, almost 4, some good action; & Ty, 7, some bigger gamefish.
* Continue to meet more people from this great community.
* Get our cottage plans (re)finalized and hopefully start something towards making this dream a reality.
Good Luck Everyone in Achieving YOUR Goals!

My goals this year are to
1. fish more
2.fish more
3. fish more (well you guys know what I mean)
I'm sure I'll have better luck fishing more this year, first I joined this great group, second got a 14ft and 15hp motor , also bought an auger (manual) and after yesterday wish it would've been power. Thank god my 14yr old son is strong enough to give a hand. I've done more ice fishing so far this month than i've done in the past 10 years. third I have to get a fish-hawk hat, fourth I have to meet some of the hawktalkers and do a bit of fishing and learn because there's a wealth of knowledge on this site. I have learned so much and now all i have to do is to put it to good use. Like I keep telling my wife "you got to practice lots to get good at it"

My goals would have to be:
Get out and enjoy this years fishing as often and as many times as possible!
Get a 50 + inch muskie, and get the gf tied into one
Get a gar and one for the gf!
Get out carping with John at least once!!
Do fairly well in tourney's this summer, and kick bacon's rump in the opens this year!
Take more people out fishing with me this year! The new boat will be itching to be on the water!!

Well my first goal this year was to have successful ice fishing trips - and I've had several so I'm quite happy about that!
Another goal is to catch a few bass over 5lbs (last year I bombed in the bass department, biggest was 4lbs).
10lb+ pike
3lb + walleye
A musky of considerable size (biggest one to date is 30 inches)
And to go fishing with my GF as much as possible and put her on some decent fish.
Maybe fish some tournaments too

My main goal his year is to take my 2.5 year old doughter out fishing for the first time. I hope I am not rushing things any but everytime she sees the boat in the back yard all she said is she wants to go fishing with daddy. Makes me proad
Onother goal will be to try to get out once and a while some more of the board members. I really want to go out with MuskieMagnet, W-I-G and RJ even though they may not know it.
It is going to be a hard year to get out with the new additions on board at home and my wife neeeding some time off from time to time.
