Thinking about heading down to Florida

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

That's near Orlando Bobber. You know any water there that you're thinking about fishing?

What day(s) are ya thinking. I could meet ya there if you're thinking about doing a little fishing.

Funny you mention that Bobber! I'm heading down to Florida also. Leaving Saturday morning for two weeks. We will be at 5399 West Irlo Bronson, in Kissimmee. First week will be in Orlando, going to Disney World for two days and then Universal Studios for two. Then moving on to the Bahamas where I was thinking of going out to do some fishing. I haven't checked what's available yet but I'm sure there will be something. I hear there's some good bonefish and tarpon fishing. If I go out, you can be sure there will be a report when I get back. Good luck and have fun. :D

Have a good and safe trip you guys and enjoy the weather. The drive down is nice. I drove down two years ago. It was quite pleasant.Very falt from Southern Georgia into Florida. Did not have a chance to fish but maybe next time round when the grankids are older.

My fishing will be done overseas in England this year.

To those going fishing, Tight Lines and hang on!!

Well......just got confirmation. We are booked on a charter to go fishing in the Bahamas on March 15Th. They said we will be going for large grouper, baracuda and sharks. Maybe a chance at tarpon and bonefish. Can't wait! I'll be sure to take pictures and even some video footage if were not too excited! :D Will certainly have a report when we get back.

Hi Bobber. I was down in southwestern Virginia last week in an attempt to meet the oncoming spring. I kind-of caught up with it, with a couple of the days reaching nearly 70 degrees. Would you believe cherry blossoms and tons of bluebirds in Roanoke in late February (last week)? Anyway, have a nice "escape" to Florida.....catch a tarpon! For the more northern climes, spring will be knocking on the door in no time.
