Ever heard of shina?

Picked up a new real today. Got on sale very cheap.The company name is SHINA and the model is winners. Anyone ever heard of this company? any feedback?

I think it's a Korean company.
With reels you usually get what you pay for.
Good luck.
On a related topic- I checked out some top-end Okuma reels at the Fishing Show. You could hear grinding noises when you turned the handles.

CCB,you right about the Okumas.they claim to have 8 or 10 bearings and probably have them too.but the number of bearings in a reel has nothing to do with the quality of that reel.a good quality reel even with 3 or 4 bearings will stay smooth and last a lifetime.

Never had a problem wih the Okuma stuff. But CCB you are right, you get what you pay for.

Seabass, never heard of that brand of reel.
It would be interesting to hear what you think of its performance after you put it through the paces...
