Late March is one of the rare oppurtunities to catch Walley on Lake Simcoe. If you have had the chance to fish late ice on Simcoe , you know what I mean. Are there any Hawktalkers that have been out to the Talbot and is the bite on yet ?

The insight would be appreciated ..........

Never been..but heard it was supposed to be good this time of year. Whitefish are suppose to move in there as well.

I was out Sunday night , got there about 4pm and left at about 8pm without even one bite. The Trent is still frozen solid and we had about 20 inches of ice in the bay. We fished about 50yrds out from the marker bouys in about 7-9 feet of "water". There were probably ten other groups of fisherman out there and all had the same luck. Anyhow I will try to get out on Wed. or Thurs. for a morning fish this time and hopefully have some better results.
