With all this bass talk......

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by FLOATFISHIN »

What , now that we have seen a great voice of opinions about Bass in general......

What's your 3 top Bass baits???????I mean in general what are the 3 baits you could not see leaving the house or dock without???

1 Spinnerbait, prob a 3/4ounce

2 A 10" worm Tequilia, or red fleck

3 Tossed between a spook or a chug bug.

bass bait

Post by Chuckles »

Although I am not an experienced bass angler, I do have favorite baits, some have caught be nice bass in shallow waters.

My # 1 lucky lure was yo-zuri minnow bait, perch colour, lost it when a huge pike snapped my line and took off with my lure. This was in guelph, I haven't seen that same lure in this area.

#2 my top-water hula popper for shallow water, great excitement

#3 I've been quite lucky and surprised when I ran out of worms fishing for bass and I decided to use an imitation cray-fish. Worked awesome, it was catching, not fishing.

The best go to bait for bass fishing is 6" Baby Bass under a float in weed pockets.

2. Cinkos (Thanks to RJ for putting me on to these and how to use them properly)

3. Toss up between Bubble gum Lizard or Slug-go's (Thanks to RJ again. His lesson went something like this: "U see that dead tree over there, toss it jut behind that hanging branch and give it a twist and.... WHAM!!! " :D
