This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

HAd a fully paid trip to brockville from my work this weekned. HAd i good look at water level very high and had a very greenish tint to it already seen some smallies moving up on there beds made me very neverous considering they are usually more picky on water temperatures. This makes me wonder with all the warm weather.?

You saw smallies bedding in the St. Lawrence this past weekend?

Where exactly in Brockville was this? I'd like to check out this bizarre behaviour.

The St Lawrence between Gananoque and Brockville is as clear as a glass of gin.....it's a scuba divers mecca. Right now around the shoreline and in the shallows its looks as cold and sterile as an ice cube.

My guess is things are later than normal. Another week will make a world of difference though. CCB would be the guy to enlighten us on this.

What is a bit worrisome to me is the ice is still on the inland lakes and the launch and dock at Outlet on Charleston Lake are under 2-3 feet of water.
