Did you ever have one of those days?

Well the reports were in and it was good news as far as the fishing on 18 mile creek in N.Y state...So plans were made by a couple of buddies and myself to head down on Sunday for some Steelhead fishing.

The strategies were being discussed and the laughs were happening on our way down...everything was going great.

We get there suit up and head down to the water...chose our spots and the drifts are started...my spot looked like a great start point and I have had great catches from there but not much happening so far.

About 15 or 20 minutes later another fisherman sets up in the hole below me...we barely say hi to each other and he calls "fish on"

Ok I say, first drift in that spot and it was there...good for him.

Man oh man! I think he was into his 10th fish before I had "one" on...and I lost the bloody thing...this is not good I thought to myself.

By the time we called it a day he must have hooked at least 16 or 17 fish and the three of us...some hook-ups but not one fish landed...

But I guess that's why they call it fishing...right!

We'll get them next time...I hope.
