Last season the Ottawa Flyfishers Society started holding informal group outtings once or twice a month on the Ottawa River since there is a break in regular club meetings over the summer. We will post the time/locations of the group outings on FH as well if any non-members might be intersted in coming out as well.
In addition, last season I tried to organize an "on the water" event for fly fishing beginners as a way to get them off to an enjoyable start. If this is something people would like to have again this season I would be willing to do it again this season.
