Cane Rod

Post by 7wtcane »

Hey guys, I just picked up a rod at a garage sale. The rod's label says Lee of Redditch. The cloth bag says Lee and Sons of Redditch.
I've been searching the net and can only find a few references on the maker, but nothing too informative.
So if anyone could provide me with some info or a good web address i would be grateful.

Thanks

7wt,

I doubt you have much from a collectors standpoint. The general rule of thumb is the British made poor cane rods, heavy, oversized, extra soft clubs, exceptions being Hardy.
