Urban Eyes (updated)

Post by Todd B. »

Gotta love fly fishing for eyes! Especially when they're urban and only 4 blocks from the house (within the city limits). I managed 3 roughly the same size (17-19"), all nice and healthy and very eager to hit my olive tungston head woolly bugger. I've got another pic but I'll have to edit it so as not to put a "rape and pillage" me sign on the location. LOL

Here's a pic of the better one, landmarks deleted to protect the innocent (fish). :-)

Good on ya for keeping the spot secret, not everyone is like that - just the other day some guy was out on the Rideau waving a long rod around with a thick piece of string on the end  . I don't think he was fishing, as no lure was visible :D Maybe he was doing rhythmic gymnastics :D :D :D :D :D

again, nice work with the fly rod, have to get mine out and try it.
