2008 Canadian Fly Fishing Competition in Tremblant

Anyone here participating in this year's event up in Tremblant?

Clint, a buddy of mine that runs a fly fishing charter company out of Squamish, BC (www.valleyfishing.com) is coming up on Saturday for the week to compete in the tournament and I was wondering if anyone on this site plans on going for gold. Clint usually competes with Denis and the rest of the gang from Naturaventur (Le Diable Fly Fishing Club) but he isn't allowed to compete with them seeing as it's their home waters.

I'm thinking of going up on Thursday to check out some Day 1 action if my work schedule allows it.

I'd go up on the Saturday to take in the conservation symposium but I've got a trip of my own planned for that weekend on good ol' Crotch Lake. (voted 2008 "Best Named Lake" by immature adults everywhere)

i did paddle the diable river 2 summers ago..while camping st jovite..great river.

they have there own club up there..some co worker are in that club...call moucheurendiable.
