Migratory Browns

Here's a great article on migratory Browns.

Here's the photo essay that goes with it.

Interesting - are you getting the urge to try it out?

The colours of the brown in photo 5 are amazing.

Yeah I wish...unfortunately I don't have any more vacation days to play with this season.

On a side note, just imagine if the MNR actually extended the trout season on the tribs until December, as opposed to their current Sept 30th closing date.

Hey Todd,

Pulsaski is only 2 1/2 or so hrs away and there's a pretty good run of browns there. Now that the salmon run is over, there'll be lots of room to move, even on a weekend.

I hope to get back down in the next week or two if you're interested.

Jerry,

Thanks for the invite, unfortunately I don't have any vacation days left and my weekends for the rest of Nov and early Dec look busy. :-(

Jerry,

Depending on the weekend (next weekend is no good), I would be game for trip down so let me know if you are going.

Dennis,

I'll drop you a line once I know for sure. Things are in a bit of upheaval these days - my son dropped out of college this weekend, so once he gets his affairs in order, I'll have to nip down to Oakville to move him back home. sigh.

Not a problem. First things first.
