Well I just picked up the latest (Nov/Dec) edition of the Canadian Fly Fisher. Flipping through the pages I come across the reader photo submissions and wouldn't you know it but there's evan with crap assed grin holding a striper in the winning photo.
yeah, that crap-assed grin won me a prize though, (rain in the face will do that every time). haven't received it yet but they said that there sending a Sage rod my way. Looking forward to getting it. I sent three photo's in while i was home bored one day and laughed pretty hard when i seen my photo in the mag, they said they wanted to use it but I didn't think I was gonna win.
Yeah, so I received a new 4pc, 6wt, Sage "Fli" fly rod from the winning of the readers showcase. Beautiful rod for sure. Now I must purchase another reel and line to suit it. It's a good excuse to go shopping for gear again. Christmas already????!!!!
