Hello everyone, I'm from pembroke and have never flyfished before though I have always wanted to try it. Unfortunately I dont own any water crafts and so I have been thinking of giving it a try. I am considering getting some cheap equipment to get started (and to see how much I enjoy it) but like I said I have never done this kind of fishing before and so was wondering if there is anyone in the area who might be interested in teaching a newbie a few things about fly fishing. If so please feel free to send me a pm. I dont even know what kind of equipment I need and I have a few questions before I go out and buy it.
I realize this is a lot to ask unfortunately I have no idea on where to start. Even if you guys have suggestions i am all ears. Thanks for all the replies that do come in... Happy Fishin.

Mr. Tackle,
Here are a few previous discussions w.r.t. getting started. It's always recommended to use the FH search function especially for questions.
