Little get away

Post by Musky51 »

2 days in paradise-

Just got back from a trip with the family to Kenauk Fairmont Montebello. We stayed at the 3 points cottage 28 kms away from the main gate.
we hit the rowboat and got into some action early...
decent rainbow trolling

brought up my kayak but it stayed on the van most the trip. It was a steep walk to the dock and they had rowboats, kayaks and canoes.

Bella wanted to take the bigyak out

Bella had a blast fishing as well... she caught her first rainbow and pike the same day ( we fished 3 lakes)
Image
ended up with 11 rainbow... kept 3 for a dinner and the rest went back in

the release

caught my first ever rainbow on a fly this morning

scored this beauty pike yesterday

and back she goes...

Awesome. Love the last pic of the pike.

I was surprised to hear that was your first 'bow on a fly.

I can hardly wait for the 3 days I'll be spending at Kenauk at the end of Sept. with a bunch of OFS'ers.
