went on the rideau today me and friends.
got a good amount off bluegil and sunfish and perch.
WONGRS..flies patern (((crystal scud))were realy good...did great on bluegill..thanks.
i did not try the others yet.

in the yak.
the wood you see on the 2 pict is a bolder i got my yak stuck on it to stop frome drifting.hahah
will try again today. in the yak.......crappies and carp.

i use a fly frome........WONGRS..flies patern (((crystal scud))
on the fly rod..there fun.
will try for carp today on the fly will see.
and mabe gar on the fly soon to.

dont no why but i caught more bluegil and perch sunfish and oobass then crappies lately..

i'd like to head out to try to find some crappies this week. problem is that my week is totally booked up!
i'll post if i get into any. i have nearby what looks to be a dynamite spot.

the sunny weather yesterday forced me to try my hand so i took some time off work to do a little crappie fishing!
small white streamers did the trick with a jerky retrieve with pauses. crappies were about 18"-24" under the surface but come up to hit. the scud worked but hooked way too many sunfish.
