LMAO!....need I say more about the redundant nail knot on the tubing. :-) Heck at least you didn't loose your flyline (i.e. the Ian Collin James joke of cutting your backing)

So are you gonna get some relatives up to keep the kids/mom occupied so that you you can get out on the water once or twice?

Well, the good news is the little one is going to be released from the NICU in the next 3-5 days provided everything continues going as well as it is right now.

The bad news is that my Mom has already come and gone, and my in-laws have already gone WAY above and beyond.

Should I just take the line off my reel right now for winter storage? Or maybe it's time I tried night fishing. That's when you're supposed to catch the biggest fish anyway!
