google maps doesn't have em for some reason.
I've sent you a pm with some better info
Calabogie area trout fishing
Rossco,
I sent you a PM on some more lakes. What you need is the stocking charts from Pembroke (732-3661) and they will mail it to you. Then get the Government maps. The stocking charts will locate the lakes on the maps. Don't go into the woods without them.
In regards to fishing from a canoe. You really need to make up a seat that spans the gunnels so you can sit down and cast. I did this for years until I got a rowing canoe (Sportspal). But as Todd says, the cadillac way is a float tube.
In regards to all the comments on my defination of a "good road", I guess I was trained early on when fishing with my dad in BC during the 50's and 60"s. You flatlanders out here would have do-do in your pants if your were in the back seat of our 1956 Ford wagon as we crawled along the side of mountains in search of fish. You prayed you never met anyone coming the other way. We all did it and it was great. And then we reported everything to the newspaper. Those days are long gone.

rossco,
Here are the Lat/Long (decimal degree) coords for Lower Twin and Shiner Lakes
Lower Twin: 45.311 N, 77.043 W
Shiner: 45.246 N, 76.881 W
If you go to the Atlas of Canada website atlas.nrcan.gc.ca/site/english you can simply enter the coords and the map will come up for you. Gotta love a good topo map!
Cheers,
Todd
