Sage spool

Post by troutstalker »

Hi Guys - any one out there lucky enough to own a Sage fly reel? I found an extra spool (model 2550 I think) on a river out in BC, but can't afford the reel to go with it! I posted it lost-and-found there and no one claimed it.

I'm in Ottawa now, and would be happy to trade it for just about anything. It's in perfect shape, and has a neoprene case. They're pricey - they retail for US$145 new - but I'm not picky...

It's not doing me any good - just sitting there making me jealous!

sage reel

...I'd need to check the model again, but Sage reels run about US$300 and up. They are beautiful, but I don't need something that nice.

I've got the neoprene case that goes with it (I'm keeping the sage line that it was spooled with!). You've got to feel bad for the guy who lost this back on the Squamish river, BC...
