Cobourg & Port Hope

Has anyone been fly fishing in the Cobourg or Port Hope area lately? If so, what fly patterns are working this time of year.

I went fishing in Port Hope for Salmon on Sept. 8th. I had no luck with flyfishing the Salmon were just not interested in any pattern I threw at them. I had better luck using the row bags.

Bill Spicer's recommended flies are spey and hair wings for aggressive fish, otherwise he uses dark nymphs (stoneflies, etc).
