Lately I've been listening to a number of fly fishing related podcasts. The most interesting points I thought were:
- Presentation is more important than fly pattern
- Use a non-slip loop knot for tying on flies
- Keep rod tip in the water when retrieving fly
- Early spring food sources: leeches, minnows
- Leeches to be tied thin and sparse (best sizes are #8,10)
