BC Update

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know, I've been unemployed for a while and have been looking for work. My four week 'vacation' out here in BC has turned out to be more permanent. I have been hired to work full time at the Michael & Young Fly Shop at their Vancouver store. I start this Friday

I've really enjoyed being a part of Fish-Hawk and meeting lots of great people. I'll miss fishing with you guys. I'll be sure to continue posting reports of my adventures out here.

If anyone's ever in the Vancouver area and wants to go fishing, let me know.

Hey Paul,

Congratulations.

The guys at M&Y got me started in fly fishing 10 years ago when we first lived in BC. They were great back then and I am sure they still are.

You will enjoy Vancouver. I'll look you up next time I'm out there.

Next time I go visit my mom in the YVR suburbs I'll be sure to go while away some hours at M&Y. I'm going to guess that you'll also have a flourishing guiding business within the next 2 years.....

nice work paul. sorry to hear that you're not coming back to ontario. are you sure you want to pass up those hard-fighting salmonids of NYS?

I'm really looking forward to working out here, especially in the fly fishing industry. I'm also looking forward to be able to fly fish all year round

Rich, if there are any bugle trout out here I'll be sure to catch them.

Negative on that one Todd. Thanks for the offer though. I probably won't be doing any lake fishing till runoff next spring. I'll be salmon fishing this fall and steelhead fishing this winter.
