OK, so I'm learning about flyfishing for carp. It was 18 degrees and sunny out today, so I had to go.

The bread trick did nothing and the fish weren't taking the nymphs and crayfish patterns I offered. But hey, it was 18 degrees and sunny.

Did I mention the temperature and that I'll try again next week? Might even get to fish right through "winter" here in Yokohama.

18 degrees!!!!!!!

Keep trying and keep us posted. I'm looking forward to the vistory report when you finally bag one of those japanesse carp.
