Well,
I emailed a note to my lovely wife who agreed she'd keep the kids tonight and I could go out once again... She commened with a winkey-face, that I'll have to make it up to her later on in the evening, but I'm not sure what that means... Maybe I need to spend the night winking at her?

I'll be amining to be on the water at 6:30pm myself... i'd go earlier if I could, but it's doubtful i'll get home and so-on done before 6pm.

Looking forward to seeing others out there, but I will happily keep all those fish to myself...

It'll be easy to spot me... I'll be the one throwing 40foot tall loops that look more like the letter H... (yeah, my casting has gone way down hill cause of all that bait-casting i've been doing, ever try to thum your fly line??? weird... )

I do not know the names of the roads off top of my head and at this client I'm working at they block google maps... If you're interested and do not know where it is... post & I'm sure someone will provide decent diretions... (close to Hwy16/Prince of Whales & Jockvale road intersection).

Tim,

Just checking...today is the 28th. Were you planning to get out this evening or on Saturday (as the 29th indicates)?

Tim,

Thought you were going to go for a swim wading through that hole. :-)
Normally I fish that particular hole and wade either above or below it. :-)

You have no idea... I was pretty sure that was getting wet a few times... it was dicey...

I finished up at about 7:50pm... The bite was slower tonight, but still good for sure... Glad to see you out Todd.

Yeah,

I thought the warmer weather during the day would have helped, but that second cold front that moved through just knocked them down even more. When this cold front finally moves through the bite should be great.

BTW, your loops weren't all that bad. ;-)

haha... Well I didn't hit myself with the fly... so that was good... but i'm out of practice, and caught between the 10 and 2 style and the Lefy Khrey styles making neither work at this point...

I've also kinda figured that for some of my files a 7 wt would be better... i might try up-sizing the fly line to 6wt line on my 5wt rod...
