The Gatineau depot is no longer an authorised Minn Kota repair depot. J & S on Innes or Shiman au Peche in Montreal would be the 2 closest for you M T

Hey MT:
If you havent got your foot switched fixed yet, they arent that difficult to do your self ( I'm refering to the PowerDrive units). I have damaged my own a few times and its usally just the springs inside pop off the postioning stubs. Release the springs on the underside and the unit separates exposing the circuit boards. This is also a good time to use some contact cleaner and safety sovent to clean the sliders and switch contacts. reposition the springs internally and drop the top part back on to the base allowing the springs to fall through their appropriate holes, use a pair of needlenose pliers to pull each spring back over its locator stubs. Good time to also clean the multi pin plug that attaches the petdal switch to the motor. There not that hard to work on once you take 'em appart and put 'em back together a few times. Fist time mine broke was about 6 miles out on L.Erie, I had a 6lb Smallie on and kicked the petdal out of the way to make some room and ended up popping a couple of springs. Talk about learning under the gun. Good Luck

Thanks BillyTM, I might just give that a try.
Sounds like needle nose pliers and perhaps a screw driver is all you need to open her up?
Something to do between periods as the Sens squash the competition. :D

thanks
