Hi guys,
I got this boat from a buddy a 14' fibreglass, it's a "Fantastic FIB G.T.S" or something like that, it has a 40hp Evinrude Lark V motor, I believe it is 1963.
anyway, I need to rewire the thing, the wires are all messed up, I went to turn it over when I got it, just to see if there was any power to the motor and nothing happened. The lights all work, which is a bonus, but it's not much use if the boat don't run. I'm thinking maybe the ignition needs to be replaced, seeing as it looks original, and I'm gonna try to just run new wiring by following how he has it hooked up. I'm just not sure it is wired properly as it is.
Anyone have any good suggestions, or know someone in the ottawa area who is handy and doesn't charge too much?
Thanks
Peter
