15 lb anchor -- where to buy

Post by YakAttack »

I need to buy a 15 lb anchor. Canadian Tire sells one for $30. Does anybody else know of a better deal somewhere else? Used is ok too.

thanks

you can also try the Chandlery - not sure of the cost but they also do 4' plastic covered chains - anchors do not work very well without a chain.

15 lb anchor

I'll second the chandlery. I was in to buy an anchor for my new boat on Monday. I bought a coated 15 pounder for $34 since I have a painted boat. I didn't check the price on regular anchors. Generally I found their prices pretty good.

I checked Cdn Tire but many stores have done there winter change over and marine supplies are in short supply.
I'm just another beer drinker with a fishing problem!
