HELP! Boat lists to port when on plane.

Post by Joey Rat »

Help! The new ride, a Lund 1650 Rebel dual console with a 50 Honda, lists to port when on plane at speed.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so how was it corrected.

Now I'm a pretty big guy and I would understand if it listed to starboard but that is not the case.

The marina where I bought the boat suggested I check the trim tab. I spoke to another shop and the mechanic there agreed it sounded like a motor problem but was baffled. He said to try the trim tab option.

Any suggestions?

I had a look and the trim tab is definately off centre so I'll have to play with that this weekend.

Still welcome any input or ideas.
