hey all ive always been under the impression that my motor was a QD 15 1954 johnson 10 hp seahorse.... some1 sugested to me it may be a 1953 qd14 instead. this is a problem cuz its time to redo carb and possible add a fuel pump... anu idea how to figure it out (the id plate on the motor is covered)

also im gunna replace the prop what would a good all around prop for this motor be (is on a 14 foot tinny that is usually loaded heavy 4 ppl or 2 ppl) ocasionaly its me myslef... i wan a general use prop that will cover the spectrum but give me maximum top end and power any suggestions?
