Can anyone tell me where to find the book value or can anyone tell me from past experience what a 1999 6HP Johnson 2-Stroke motor is worth these days?? I paid $1650.00 before tax back in early 99 and I want to sell it now....

Id be interested in making a deal with you? Im looking for a kicker motor. Is your motor a long shaft? 2 or 4 stroke?
I just priced a few merc motors new. I can tell you that a 8hp 4stroke long shaft is around $2400.00
there is a sale here in kingston at canadian tire. 9.9 2 stroke merc 06' short shaft. $1999.00
Id ask around $700 - $800

Select the boats section there is an outboard motor section. From there it goes manufacturer, year, model.
Keep in mind the value is US$ and it also usually seems a little high to me. Also the market demand etc all factor in to the pricing and these site does not account for that.
