Anyone have any advice on how I can keep my transducer stuck to the boat? It has a suction cup, but it is always coming loose and falling off. I have it on a good smooth surface and have tried every spot on the boat, and the same result. It gets really annoying retrieving the cord every 2 mins. or so. It has no screw holes to permanantly mount it. Thanks in advance!
I always had the same problem with mine.
First make sure that the entire suction cup is mounted below the water.
Second, and this what I ended up doing, make a bracket and mount the tranducer.
Why not try some "marine Goop" adhisive? This would be more of a perminent soloution.
On my last boat I used Marine Goop to mount a small block of plywood to the transome. I then used small wood screws to attach the transducer to the plywood.
