Mirrocraft Boat

Post by rickr »

Anyone knows Mirrocraft boat?
I get a manual from a marina which is Mirrocraft dealer.
They are not high profile but seem very good. These boats are made by a private company of US.
Price is alright. Price of this package (Brand new 18'10" + 150 HP/9.9 HP 4 stroke yammy) is about $30K + tax.

Don't know anything about them.

You could probably get a Lund Pro Sport 17 and a 150 for the same amount no?

Maybe not....I forget how much ours cost.....probably more than 20k......plus engines cost a crapload.......We have a 150 on ours it's just a 2 stroke but it goes nice 50mph.....

plus our boat is like 9 years old and in great shape..........very good quality...except for the seats, they are getting a bit damaged from the usage I guess...Oh and the plastic on the top for the boat has gotten a bit old and it's hard to put up the top.......it costs about 1000$ to replace that part....

But all in all it's a good boat.

After buying that Lund for so much my dad has decided just to get a much cheaper boat once he retires....He's found out there isn't much need for such an expensive boat since much cheaper ones are just as comfortable.

probably will replace it with a Lund Mr. Pike (which is not by any means cheap) or something a bit less expensive....and just as comfortable.

Hope you find a good boat that will last a long time and serve you well!

Take Care

Before I bought my used lund this past week, I looked at the Mirrocraft lineup. The seem to be ruggedly built, and very well priced.
I was looking in a boating magazine the other day, and they had the Mirrocraft Agressor I think it was, with a 70HP Suzuki for 12k....very well priced if you ask me.
I think they are pretty smart looking boats for the money. I would rather spend 15k on a Mirrocraft than 30k on lund. Its about time you paid for what you get instead of the name. Right Princecraft, Lund, etc?>
